SKIBBEREEN COMMUNITY AND FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
We are recruiting for the following position:
LGBTI+ DEVELOPMENT WORKER FULL TIME (4 MONTH CONTRACT - **APPLY ON THE
WEBSITE** HOURS PER WEEK)
Overall Purpose of the Job: To work with the Co-ordinator and Board of
Management to develop a range of LGBTI+ supports and activities and
events
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
* A 3rd level qualification in community development or a related
discipline
* A minimum of 3 year?s experience in delivering supports in a
community based setting
* Demonstrable understanding of current issues and developments
within the LGBT+ community
* Networking skills and ability to work with community, voluntary
and statutory agencies?
* Experience of engaging with LGBTI+ individuals, young people,
families and community
* Experience of planning, developing and delivering services,
programmes and activities to individuals and groups
* Experience in project and event management
* Experience supervising others
* Group facilitation skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Access to own transport and full clean drivers licence
